DRYDEN — Dryden handed Kingston a 50-45 setback in a North Central Thumb League varsity boys’ basketball battle on Tuesday, January 18.
With the final, Dryden improves to 5-4 and 3-0. Kingston slips to 3-5 and 0-3.
In Tuesday’s battle, Kingston grabbed a 17-6 edge after one quarter was done and widened the gap to 30-21 at the half.
Dryden then outscored Kingston 29-15 the rest of the way, pulling out a 50-45 victory.
Dylan Ledford led Dryden with 15 points. The Cardinals also had Jacob Burgess (13), Merrick Maris (11), Zack Lemke (seven) plus Ethan Knuth and Tommy Giles (two each) contribute points to their cause.
