ALMONT — Almont dropped a 72-50 verdict to visiting Cros-Lex in a Blue Water Area Conference varsity boys’ basketball contest on Tuesday, January 11.
In Tuesday’s contest, Cros-Lex grabbed a 19-15 edge after one quarter was done and widened the gap to 40-24 at halftime
Cros-Lex then outscored Almont 32-26 the rest of the way, closing out a 72-50 win.
Rich Rockey (nine points, including a trifecta) paced Almont. He was backed by Clayton Roszczewski (eight points), Blake Campbell (seven, featuring a trey), Logan Walton (seven), Sully Szlaga (five, with a triple), Haden Lacavera (five), Cameron Bourdeau (a trifecta) plus Matthew Measel, Cole Walton and Sam Bussone (two each).
