DRYDEN — Dryden earnaed a 67-57 win against visiting Genesee in a North Central Thumb League varsity boys’ basketball game last Thursday.

With the decision, Dryden improves 1-4 and 1-0.

In Thursday’s battle, Dryden bolted out to 16-9 advantage after one quarter had ended and widened the gap to 34-25 at halftime.

Dryden then outscored Genesee 33-32 the rest of the way, closing out a 67-57 win.

Jacob Burgess led Dryden with 29 points. The Cardinals also had Merrick Maris (16 points), Dylan Ledford (14), Zack Lemke (six) and Ethan Knuth (two) reach the scoring column.
