CAPAC — Capac wound up on the losing side of a 50-28 verdict to Cass City at the SC4 Boys’ Basketball Showcase last Thursday afternoon.

Port Huron is where the action unfolded.

In Thursday’s encounter, Cass City jumped out to a 13-5 advantage after one quarter was over with.

The middle two quarters saw Cass City net 25 total points and Capac manage 20, increasing their cushion to 38-25 with 24 minutes gone.

Cass City then outscored Capac 12-3 the rest of the way, finishing off a 50-28 win.

For Capac, James Limon-Berry led Capac with 10 points. He drained a trey along the way. The Chiefs also had Danny Laskowski (six points, including a pair of trifectas), Luke Coltson (five, with a trey) plus Gavin Ruegsegger and Wyatt Hurley (two apiece) reach the scoring column.
