Gladys E. Kage went to be with her Lord on this day, December 26, 202, at the age of 82.

Gladys was born on March 15, 1939 to parents Paul and Martha Fiebelkorn on a farm in Utica. She grew up on the farm and went to schools in Waldenburg and Mount Clemens.
Upon graduation from high school she began working for an insurance company.

On June 18, 1960 she married Elmer Kage Jr. and they were blessed with three lovely children.

They resided in Sterling Heights until 1972 when they moved to Almont. Elmer and Gladys started the business of Kage Trucking Inc., which they operated together for 15 years.
Gladys then went to work at Crittenton and Lapeer Hospitals as a unit secretary for 17 years.

Gladys loved to cook and bake. Her hobbies included doing crafts, gardening, fishing, snowmobiling and four-wheeling.

She is survived by her husband, Elmer, of 61 years; daughters, Cindy (Thomas) Wunsche of Almont, MI and Sherry Kage of Washington, MI; and son, Duane Kage of Almont, MI.

Gladys was preceded in death by parents, Paul and Martha Fiebelkorn; and brothers; Arnold and Harold Fiebelkorn.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, December 28. A private burial took place on December 29 at Ferguson Cemetery, Almont, MI.
