Recently a person with an extensive criminal background ran his vehicle into a Christmas parade killing five and injuring more.

Each year over 66,000 people die from opioid overdoses, much of it brought into America by cartels or over prescribed.

More people die annually from alcohol and car crashes than guns. We don’t outlaw cars or liquor nor do we blame cars and booze but go after the people responsible.

So why are the same lame arguments trotted out each time a shooting happens? Oh it’s the fault of the gun or the NRA. Face it America, our problem is mentally ill people.

Other nations have guns in every home but don’t experience the same carnage. Blaming the gun or the NRA is counter productive.
