David Henry Shutter, age 57, a long time resident of Almont, passed away December 14, 2021. He was born February 10, 1964 in Detroit, the son of Rodger William and Darlene (Moran) Shutter. He graduated from Almont High School in 1982. He worked for 16 years at ZF Corporation in Lapeer. David enjoyed the outdoors, working on his trucks, monster trucks, hunting and family gatherings.
He is survived by his girlfriend, Regina Sheeler of Southgate; his parents, Rodger and Darlene Shutter of Houghton Lake; his son, Joshua Burchi and grandson, Quinto Burchi of Tennessee; siblings, Debra (John) Thompson of North Branch, and Tim (Tara) Shutter of Brown City; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He also leaves his godson, TJ Shutter; and dear friend, Gary Gothham.
The funeral service was held December 19, 2021 and memorial luncheon followed – all at Muir Funeral Home & Celebration of Life Center, 2650 South Van Dyke, Imlay City, MI 48444.
