The Almont Downtown Development Authority wishes to extend our sincere appreciation for all the businesses, organizations and individuals who helped to make our 23rd Annual Holly Day Light Parade a success. It was a beautiful evening for all to enjoy. With 25 parade participants, it was a magical evening had by all.

A special “Thank You” is also extended to: Terry Roach our MC for the evening, our valuable volunteers, Mike Bohm, Melissa Schneider, Michele Breen, Traci Pewinski, Lisa Kniesteadt, Christy Yarbrough, Paula Alfonsi, Cyndi Temple, Ann Feldman, Tom Evans, Imlay City Ford, Almont Police Department, Almont DPW, Almont Historical Society; American Tree and the Almont High School students who helped Mr. Jim Wade at the Historical Society with the children’s holiday craft. The performance of the Almont Singers under the direction of Ms. Susie Royster and the Almont Marching Band under the direction of Mr. Adam Wetzel, put everyone downtown in the holiday spirit. The Almont Fire Department is to be commended for a job well done, bringing Santa and two special guests with him to downtown to light the Memorial Christmas Tree for the first time this season. A special “Thank You” to all the participants in the parade—the floats were spectacular! We hope you make plans to join us again next year and that you continue to enjoy and support our local businesses.
