Members of Almont American Legion Post #135 recently purchased and installed new plaques to honor veterans at locations in Almont Village and Almont Township.
We want to thank everyone that assisted with and/or donated to the completion of the project in time for Veterans Day.
Thank you to our generous donors, and to Almont Legion members who dedicated a portion of their weekend to digging holes and installing plaques at cemeteries and parks within Almont Township.
We also wish to express our appreciation to Almont DPW Supt. Bryan Treat and staff, who dug out the 42-inch deep holes at Burley Park and Murphy Parks, within the Village of Almont.
Your efforts made ours that much easier on a chilly, rainy day.
Thank you very much.
