Local crafters invited to take part in the fun from 4-8 p.m.
IMLAY CITY — Imlay City Downtown Development Authority (DDA) Director Lorrelei Natke is currently seeking vendors for a “Downtown Craft Show” on Saturday, Dec. 11 from 4-8 p.m. inside the old fire hall on Third Street.
Natke said the DDA’s first-ever craft show will take place in conjunction with Imlay City’s “Winter Playground” activities, which run from 5-8 p.m. on the same evening.
Imlay City’s 2021 Lighted Christmas Parade, featuring ‘Old Saint Nick,’ will make its way through the downtown district at 6 p.m. on Dec. 11.
A tree-lighting ceremony will be held at Lamb-Steele Park at the conclusion of the parade. “I’d been getting positive responses, so we’re going to be moving forward with the craft show,” Natke said. “We are now sending out an invitation to all crafters interested in participating in our ‘First Imlay City Christmas Craft Show.’”
Natke is encouraging crafters to contact her ASAP at 810-724-2135 or lnatke@imlaycity.org.
