Nancy Heacock, age 74, of Attica, MI died Thursday, November 11, 2021 at McLaren Lapeer Region Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Nancy Elaine Williams was born April 30, 1947 in Pontiac, Michigan. She was the daughter of the late Clinton and the late Ferne (Barnum) Williams. She grew up in the area north of Oxford and was a graduate of Dryden High School, class of 1965. She has lived most of her life in the Attica and Dryden areas. She married James David Heacock on November 6, 1965 in Oxford, Michigan.
Nancy worked very hard, side by side with her husband and family, on the family dairy farm in Attica. She was also employed by Weight Watchers – Lapeer as a clerk. Nancy had worked for 25 years for Weight Watchers- Lapeer before retiring in 2018. She had attended the Attica United Methodist Church.
Nancy is survived by her husband, James Heacock of Attica; her daughters, Amber (Todd) Eisinger of Lapeer, MI and Bonnie (Robert) Helton of Columbiaville, MI; her son, J.D. Heacock of Attica, MI; brothers, Nelson Williams, Michael (Joyce) Williams, Norman (Linda) Williams; and sister-in-law, Yvonne Williams. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Robert Helton, Haylee Helton, Lindsy Dustin, Ashlee Eisinger, Alyssa Eisinger, Seth Whitledge and Karlie Ingram; and three great-grandchildren.
Nancy was preceded in death by a brother, Wallace Williams.
The funeral service was held Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI. Burial followed in Attica Township Cemetery, Attica.
