John Patrick Ankley, 66, of Mussey Township, passed away October 25, 2021, at McLaren Port Huron Hospital.
He was born April 2, 1955, in Detroit, the son of the late Woodrow and Vivian (Eagen) Ankley.
His marriage to Kimberly Campbell was May 15, 1993, at the Light of Christ Community Church in Imlay City, MI.
John was retired from Ford Motor Company where he worked as a gear lab technician for over 30 years. He was a dedicated and devoted family man who loved his family, friends, neighbors and The Lord. On October 6, 2021, John accepted Christ as his Savior. John enjoyed being in nature and gardening, bird watching, camping, cooking and watching college football and baseball.
Surviving in addition to his wife of 28 years, Kimberly; are children, Sean Ankley and Kelly (Gary Paquette) Ankley; grandchildren, Matthew, Aliyah and Addison; siblings, Brain and Kim Ankley; nieces and nephews; James, Barbara, Joseph and Greg Ankley, Virginia Ankley Bell, Annette Kinney, Brythany Alcala, and Jacob and Cale Campbell.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Mark Ankley.
Funeral services were held Saturday, October 30 at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Capac. Rev. David Webb, pastor of Emmanuel Bible Church, officiated.
