IMLAY CITY — The Imlay City boys’ soccer team put the finishing touches on a 12-0-0 Blue Water Area Conference campaign with a 5-0 road triumph against Cros-Lex on Monday, October 11.
It marked the fifth straight year that Imlay City, which improves to 18-3-1 overall, has ended BWAC play as league champions.
Sergio Galiana (unassisted), Luis Barragan (set up by Dilan Garcia), Giovanny Torres (unassisted), Jose Salcedo (set up by Juan Zepeda) and Josh Hayes (assisted by Greyson Shadbolt) supplied Imlay City’s goals.
Quintin Ramirez and Carter Couzens each took a turn in net for the victorious Imlay City side. Ramirez wound up with two saves and Couzens managed one.
