CAPAC — Host Capac handed Harbor Beach an 18-25, 25-19, 25-23, 26-24 setback in a Greater Thumb Conference East varsity volleyball battle last Thursday night.

Julia Schaefer directed Capac’s offense from her position at setter. She finished with 23 assists.

Gracie Klink (10), Cerenity Helzer (nine), Schaefer (five), Chloe Moran and Sam Killingbeck (three apiece) plus Paige Hansen, Sam Ballard and Brianna Swamba (one each) supplied Capac’s kills.

Kenadee Malloy (23), Schaefer (19), Skielar Tesnow (seven), Moran and Killingbeck (six apiece), Helzer (five), Cathy Williamson and Klink (three each), Anna Klein, Ballard and Swamba (two apiece) along with Hansen (one) provided Capac’s digs.

Tesnow (five), Schaefer (four), Williamson and Killingbeck (two each) plus Helzer (one) added Capac’s ace serves.
