IMLAY CITY — The Imlay City varsity football team will be back in action this week after sitting things out last week.

“We had a lot of players who were sick (not COVID related) or injured,” Imlay City Athletic Director Don Gauthier said. “That is why a decision was made to forfeit last Friday’s game to Cros-Lex due to low numbers,” he noted.

Imlay City is slated to entertain BWAC rival Algonac this Friday. The contest, Imlay City’s homecoming, is slated to get underway at 7 p.m.
