ALMONT — Jesse Kautz posted a 47 over nine holes, leading the Almont girls’ golf squad to a second-place finish Wednesday at a Blue Water Area Conference Jamboree Tournament.

Willow Tree Golf Course, in Melvin, is where the action took place.

Yale topped the standings with a 222 total. They were followed by Almont (235), Lutheran Northwest (242), Armada (248), North Branch (279) and Richmond (284).

Imlay City also participated, but did not field a complete lineup.

Bella Moussiaux (56) supplied Almont’s second best score. The Raiders also counted Olivia Kotelnicki’s 62 and Taylor Garabedian’s 70.

Dakota Deel paced Imlay City with a 56. Megan Anglebrandt (69) also represented the Spartans.
