We would like to congratulate Imlay City, our ‘old hometown,’ on its Sesquicentennial Celebration! Unfortunately we are unable to attend the festivities due to a family event.
Dick and I lived many happy years on Cheney St. and Lierman Rd. and taught thousands of children in the Imlay City Community Schools. We miss the many friends we made over 40-plus years, since moving to Northville, MI in 2017 to be closer to our son and family.
We’re so glad to see that our little ‘Gateway to the Thumb’ town is thriving and we hope to be back to visit soon!
