While we wait for final forensic results, we want to extend our gratitude to the thousands of people that come out to support our search effort for Mr. Mindelli. This was an amazing example of how a community can come together—a search operation like we’ve never experienced in Dryden.
With the help of 56 fire and EMS departments, 12 police departments, six helicopters, a dozen drones, K9 and dive teams, we searched all corners of our township. We had almost 1,000 volunteers walking countless miles and an endless supply of food and water brought by supporters and local businesses. We also deeply appreciate the support from the Dryden Wesleyan Church, for opening their facilities and helping us organize the volunteer effort. We are proud of how quickly our community came out in force to do anything and everything they could to help the Mindelli family.
Our thoughts and prayers will continue to be with the Mindelli family in the coming days, weeks and months. A heart-felt thank you to everyone who played a role in trying to bring Joe home.
There are so many amazing organizations that had an impact. We apologize to any organizations that we may have missed.
