ALMONT — A pair of recent Almont High School graduates teed it up at a Top-50 Junior Golf Tour stop this past week.
They were a part of the field in the Frankenmuth Open which unfolded June 20-21 at The Fortress.
Competing in the Girls’ 15-18 age group, Kautz tied for seventh with a 178 output over 36 holes. Her effort included an opening round 89 and a closing round 89.
Hellebuyck matched Kautz’s total and finish position. She started with a first round of 91 and ended with an 87.
Almont’s Jesse Kautz, Class of 2024, also competed in the event. Kautz posted rounds of 102 and 103 on the challenging course, leaving her outside the top-ten for the event.
