IMLAY CITY — Imlay City’s Grace Schriber helped the White team edge the Red squad, 7-6, in the Michigan High School Softball Coaches Association Division 2 All-Star Game last Wednesday afternoon.

Margo Jonker Stadium, on the campus of Central Michigan University, hosted the contest.

Schriber, a pitcher, threw two innings. She allowed one run, one hit and issued one walk.

Offensively, Schriber had two plate appearances. She walked and struck out.

Schriber was joined by Alexa Rauch (Niles), Joslyn Hobson (Linden), Abigail Way (Sparta), Kali Heivilin (Three Rivers), Payton Lewis (Vicksburg), Emma Mossing (Linden), Reneigh Sandmann (Lakeshore), Jayna Henry (Haslett), Jenna Blevins (Flat Rock), Alyssa Gearhart (Edwardsburg), Sarah Johnston (Wixom St. Catherine), Shelby Grau (Lakeshore), Morgan Stahl (Lakewood), Kendra VanderLugt (Otsego) and Shantel Blyly (Three Rivers).

The team was coached by Imlay City’s Jean Bannister and Bullock Creek’s Ben Borsenik.
