Deborah Smith, October 10, 1950 – July 14, 2021, of Imlay City, MI, passed away surrounded by her family. Deborah was known for her faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Deborah attended Imlay City High School and graduated in 1968. She lived most of her life in Imlay City and was well liked among the community. Deborah loved her family with all her heart. She was caring, loving, thoughtful and overall just a joy to be around. She was a warm and welcoming person. Her doors were always open to everybody. After a long and wonderful visit, you could count on her standing in the doorway saying “watch for deer” and waving goodbye as you drove away. That, and of course, her saying “I love you, drive safe,” was one of many ways of saying “I love you.” Deborah is remembered as someone you could talk to with an open heart.
