The Imlay City 10U softball team took first at a tourney it hosted this past weekend. IMLAY CITY — The Imlay City 10U softball squad registered a first-place showing at the Alysha Rahn Tournament it hosted last weekend.

Imlay City started things off Saturday with a 10-2 win against Capac.

Later that day, Imlay City pulled out a 2-1 victory over Memphis.

The next day Imlay City improved their mark to 3-0, registering an 11-3 semifinal triumph against Capac.

Imlay City then closed out an unbeaten weekend with an 8-7 win over Sandusky.

Millie Craven, Macie Stine, Ava Shack, Madison Kaeding, Addison Ramirez, Kyleigh Schoonver, Natalie Spaniolo, Jordyn Chandler, Elyssa Gnagey, Joslyn Chandler, Abby Malecki and Claribel Thompson made Imlay City’s top finish possible. They were directed to the title by coaches Rob Gnagey, Tiffany Ramirez, Shayne Malecki and Ernesto Ramirez.
