The Imlay City Schools Alumni Association proudly distributed over $15,000 in scholarships to members of the 2021 ICHS graduating class, which was made possible by the generous donation of so many alumni and supporters.
A special thank you is extended to Klerissa Smith Church, Class of 1993, for once again generously supporting scholarships.
Two new scholarships were established this year. The James and Jeanne Taylor Accounting Scholarship was established by their daughter Jeannette Taylor Rittgers, CPA, who was the recipient of a Neil Blank Accounting Scholarship when she graduated high school in 1983. The children of educators Ken and Marlene Brown established a fund in memory of their parents.
All of the funds managed by the alumni association are held and invested by the Four County Community Foundation.
Recipients of this year’s scholarships were:
•Imlay City Schools Alumni Association—Angela Cardenas
•Imlay City Schools Alumni Association—Hailie Rzeszut
•Taylor Accounting Scholarship—Natalie Giglio
•Linda Muir Grant Scholarship—Vanesa Ramos-Ramirez
•Lyle & Joyce Powers Scholarship—Tanya Torres
•Rod & Gladys Warner Scholarship—Wei Huang Liu

The Association congratulates each of these students and wishes them success as they continue their education.
