ALMONT — The Almont 14U baseball team went 3-0 en route to a first-place showing at the Imlay City All-Star Tournament this past weekend.
Almont opened their tournament stint Saturday with a 13-0 win against Capac.
Later that day, Almont picked up a 12-2 victory over Imlay City.
The following day saw Almont square off versus Sandusky for tournament honors.
When the contest ended, Almont had prevailed via an 8-3 count.
Matthew Bacholzky, Tim Miller, Dustin Claeys, Dalton Oliphant, Dylan Taylor, Austin Swain, Nolan Maxlow, Luke Winkler, Bain Abitheira and Eli McConnell comprised Almont’s roster. They were coached by Dan Swain, Kevin McConnell and Brandon Gable.
