Marjorie (Marge) Muir, 95, of Lapeer, passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2021. Marge was born May 25, 1926 in Port Huron, the daughter of Theodore and Helen (Shepherd) Harrison.

Marge graduated from Capac High School class of 1944 and was employed for 23 years as payroll supervisor for Champion Home Builders in Dryden. She enjoyed golfing, bowling, playing cards and traveling with the Nomads Travel Club of Romulus. She was a member of the American Legion Post #16 of Lapeer and the Lapeer Moose Lodge #2106. Marge married Norman Muir in 1966.

Marge is survived by her son, Gregg (Vickie) Howard of Lapeer; son-in-law, Mike (Dee) Blazo of Florida; five grandchildren, Brandon Blazo, Brock (Sherri) Blazo, Brett (Pamela) Blazo, Celeste (Jeff) Kolp and Derek (Denisse) Howard; 10 great-grandchildren, Kealey Kolp, Cassidy Kolp, Nathaniel Blazo, James Blazo, Charles Blazo, Macee Gwen Blazo, Jack Blazo, Lilly Blazo, Dayson Howard and Dalen Howard.

Marge was preceded in death by her husband, Norman on October 27, 1996; her daughter, Gwen Blazo on October 21, 1999; her son, Gary Howard on June 13, 2020; granddaughter, Michelle Blazo on September 11, 1975; and her brother, John Harrison on November 4, 2014.

The funeral service was held on Saturday, June 26 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home in Lapeer. Burial followed the funeral service at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Dryden.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Suncrest Auxiliary or the American Cancer Society.
