On Sunday, June 6, 2021, the Dryden High School Class of 2021 graduated and then immediately celebrated with an All Night Party hosted by the Project Graduation committee which was comprised of parents from the senior class. Project Graduation is a national program that began over 40 years ago in an effort to provide a safe, drug and alcohol free party on the night of high school graduation.
In order to provide the food, activities, entertainment, and prizes, many fundraising events were held throughout the school year, grants were written, and donations were sought. The Dryden Project Graduation committee would especially like to thank the following businesses and organizations for their help and generosity: Almont Lions Club, American Tree, Dairy Queen (Imlay City), Doctors of Physical Therapy (Lapeer), Dryden Athletic Boosters, Dryden Dental-Dr. Okoniewski, Ferris State University, Four County Community Foundation, Grondins Hair Center, Kiwanis Club, Knox Lawn & Landscape, Lapeer County Community Foundation, Meijer, St. John Episcopal Church (Dryden), and Veda’s Uniques & More.
In addition, several parents, grandparents, and individual community members also contributed prizes and financial support for the event. The Senior All Night Party was a success due to the teamwork of all involved. Best of luck to our seniors as they go out and make their mark on our world.
