The Marlette School Foundation (a.k.a. Marlette Alumni Association) has determined to cancel the Alumni Banquet scheduled for this year on Saturday, September 18, 2021 because of continued COVID-19 concerns. We felt with vaccinations increasing and things beginning to open back up, it still might be wise to wait one more year.
The alumni banquet is held every three years and honors the three classes who are celebrating their 49th, 50th and 51st alumni reunions. This year there would have been four (1969, 1970, 1971 and 1972) because we missed the 2020 banquet due to COVID-19. The plan now is to hold it next year on Saturday September 17, 2022 and honor these 4 classes plus the class of 1973.
All alumni, who have been out of school 49 or more years, are eligible to attend.
The alumni banquet is planned to be held in the “old” gymnasium at Marlette High School every three years on the 3rd Saturday of September with dinner beginning at 1 p.m.
