TRI-CITY AREA — Imlay City downed visiting Almont, 81-56, in a Blue Water Area Conference girls’ track dual meet on Tuesday, April 20.

North Branch is where the action unfolded.

Mary Lengemann, high jump, 4 feet 10 inches; Sydney Livingston, pole vault, 7 feet; Sydney Kapushinksi, long jump, 13 feet 5 1/2 inches; Elizabeth Sliman, 400 dash (1:04.43) and 3200-meter run (14:43.37); along with Jessica Denver, 800 (2:30.14) and 1600 (5;32.81) runs; collected Imlay City’s individual event wins.

The Imlay City 1600 (Dakota Deel, Ana Lengemann, Mary Lengemann and Denver) and 3200-meter (Ana Lengemann, Mary Lengemann, Sliman and Denver also prevailed. They were timed in 4:41.67 and 11:52.57, respectively.

Molleigh Rinke, shot put (25 feet 11 1/2 inches) and discus (84 feet 4 1/2 inches); Devin Johnston, 100 (13.74 seconds) and 200 (28.21 seconds) dashes; Brandi Brady, 100-meter hurdles, 20.73 seconds; and Chloe Brady, 300 hurdles, 59.83 seconds; supplied Almont’s individual event firsts.

The Almont 400 (Claire Taylor, Montserrat Coronel, Paige Feldman and Johnston) and 800 (Emily Kwierant, Coronel, Feldman and Johnston) relays also emerged victorious. They registered respective clockings of 56.05 seconds and 1:57.8 en route.

Imlay City squared off versus North Branch as well, prevailing 77-59.

Mary Lengemann (high jump), Livingston (pole vault), Kapushinski (long jump), Deel (100-meter dash), Sliman (400) plus Denver (800 and 1600-meter runs) furnished Imlay City’s individual event firsts.

The Imlay City 800 (Ana Lengemann, Mary Lengemann, Sliman and Deel, 1600 (Ana Lengemann, Mary Lengemann, Deel and Denver) and 3200 (Ana Lengemann, Mary Lengemann, Denver and Sliman) relays notched top finishes as well.
In the meet’s other dual, North Branch pulled out a 75-61 victory over Almont.

Brandi Brady (pole vault), Taylor (long jump), Rinke (discus) and Johnston (100 and 200-meter dashes) contributed Almont’s individual event wins.

The Almont 400 (Taylor, Coronel, Feldman and Johnston) and 800 (Kwierant, Coronel, Feldman and Johnston) obtained top finishes as well.
