Robert Leonard Galbraith, 56, of Imlay City passed away Sunday, March 28, 2021 at home with his family by his side. He was born January 18, 1965 the son of William and Rita (Schornack) Galbraith in Detroit. Robert attended South Lake High School in St. Clair Shores. After high school he began working full time at Bildon Parts & Service in Livonia, the family business. Robert met the love of his life, Tricia Robinson, and they married February 7, 1997 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Utica. They moved to Imlay City and together they raised a family. Their family enjoyed camping in their motorhome all over the Midwest. Robert and Trisha’s big passion was cruising with friends, several times a year, enjoying warm sunny beaches. During the pandemic, Mexico was Rob’s go to vacation hot spot. He seemed to enjoy the Risotto, but not the Rum, however the Patron was still an enjoyment with his friend/shot partner Bill. Rob was always fielding calls from Hunter who just had a question, mostly about truck/car things. Friendly little jokes and chats were shared with baby boy Noah, and he loved to dance with his Daddy’s little girl
Peyton. Robert was known by some of his friends and family as “Bert.”
Robert leaves his wife, Tricia; his two sons, Hunter (fiancé Caeliegh Benson) and Noah; and his daughter, Peyton. He is also survived by three brothers. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rita, and father, William.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 2, 2021 from 3-8 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Robert’s Celebration of Life Remembrance will be held on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at 12 noon with viewing beginning at 11 a.m. at Muir Funeral Home & Celebration of Life Center, 2650 S. Van Dyke, Imlay, MI 48444.
