Recently Lapeer County 4-H announced their 2021 County Award Recipients. We want to celebrate these youth and the businesses who support the 4-H program all year.

Lapeer County 4-H 2021 County Awards were presented to Rowan Conley and Myla Hochstein.

Rowan Conley of North Branch, is a member of Flying Hooves Club, North Branch Finish Line Swine Club, Moo Crew Club, and Dyna-Mutts Club and earned 4-H project medals in Horses and Dairy, as well as earning scholarships for Citizenship Washington Focus program in Washington DC; National 4-H Congress program held in Atlanta, GA, as well as a Junior Ambassador Court member position.

4-H members will attend in-person events when allowed by Michigan 4-H travel guidelines.

Myla Hochstein of Columbiaville, member of Moo Crew Club, Finish Line Swine Club, and Flying Hooves, earned project medals in Dairy, Swine and Horses.

The following businesses were recognized as Friends of 4-H.

Rowley Auctions of Attica was honored for their many years of support of the Spring Auction by generously donating their time to conduct the live auction portion of both day’s auctions.

ChoiceOne Bank of Lapeer has continued their support of Lapeer County 4-H through sponsorship and programming support.

The Lapeer County Press was recognized for their continued support in sharing 4-H programming in Lapeer County.
