The Thumb Community Health Partnership (TCHP) is conducting a Behavioral Health Survey in Huron, Lapeer, Sanilac and Tuscola counties through March 31, 2021, and we need your help. This survey is for everyone! We need input from the general public and community leaders. We also want input from people who work for organizations that help people with behavioral health issues, such as primary care providers and mental health providers. People who would like to take part in the survey can find the link on the TCHP home page, www.thumbhealth.org or https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/BHThumb21 .
As an added bonus for taking part, people who complete the survey can enter to win one of sixty $20 gift cards.
The purpose of the survey is to collect information on behavioral health needs in our community. Knowing the needs will help TCHP member organizations develop plans to improve access to mental health services and the health and wellness of residents. This survey is especially important this year because of the COVID-19 crisis, which has led to extra stress and isolation.
TCHP will be getting the word out about the survey in several ways, including newsletters, Facebook posts, and emails. Paper surveys will also be available at some key locations like health departments, medical offices, and events like pop-up food pantries.
If you would like more information about the survey and how it will help the Thumb community, please contact us at thumbhealth@gmail.com.
