Margaret (Marge) Huston, March 15, 1927 – March 3, 2021, two weeks shy of her 94th birthday, Marge died peacefully in Page Springs, AZ, with her daughters by her side. Although Marge resided in Arizona for the last few years to be near family, her heart was always in Capac. Enjoying her childhood on the family farm on Martin Road, she graduated Capac High School with the class of 1944. She married Moe Huston in 1946, and they raised three
children in their beloved neighborly setting.

Marge was a proud parishioner of St. Nicholas Catholic Church where she took an active leadership role as a member of the Altar Society and of the parish council. She was in her element as a teacher and director of the religious education program at St. Nicholas for more than 25 years. She relished the opportunity to visit shut-in parishioners by becoming an Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist. Her community involvement went well beyond her service at St. Nicholas. She served as president of the American Legion Auxiliary, was a Girl Scout troop leader and served as secretary on the Building and Advisory Commission for the Council on Aging.

Marge was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Marie Hagle; her son, Jeffrey; her
husband, Moe; her three brothers, Chuck, Don and Bob; and her second husband, Russ Lewis. She is survived by her two daughters, Jan (Steve) Moullen and Jill (Larry) Dood both of AZ; her grandson, Jordan (Linh) Savara and great-grandson Kai of California; as well as many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Marge will always be remembered for her kindness, generosity and warmth. It could be said she never met a stranger she didn’t like, but one can take it even further by saying she even liked
strangers she never met. Her knowledge and memory of family and Capac history seemed to
have no bounds. Throughout the years, her storytelling entertained many a family gathering.

A memorial service will be held at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Capac on Thursday, April 8
at 11:00. During the service, there will be an opportunity for family and friends to share
memories about Marge.

In lieu of flowers, and in the light of Marge’s spirit of compassion and love of the village of Capac and the parish of St. Nicholas, the family suggests donations be made to St. Nicholas Catholic Church. Thank you.
