ST. CLAIR COUNTY — The St. Clair County Health Department’s new COVID-19 vaccine pre-registration system will go live tomorrow Friday, February 5 at 9 a.m.

All individuals living or working in St. Clair County interested in pre-registering for the COVID-19 vaccine should visit the health department’s website The link will be called “Pre-Registration for COVID-19 Vaccine”.

This is a pre-registration system only, or a placeholder. An individual will need to select the “sign up” option; create a user name and password. Once registered, an individual will be contacted when an appointment becomes available, based on their priority group status and the date/time they registered. Individuals can set up appointment notifications via an automated phone call, text or email.

It is highly encouraged those needing pre-registration help, ask a family member, friend or neighbor for assistance. For seniors 65 and older needing assistance with the online pre-registration process, help is available by contacting:

•Council on Aging/Call 1-800-297-0099 or your local senior center

•Call 211

An additional vaccine hotline will also be established in the near future.

Dr. Annette Mercatante, Medical Health Officer, stated, “We hope the community finds this new pre-registration system helpful. We appreciate everyone’s patience with the process. As more vaccine becomes available, vaccination opportunities will as well, including even more options for our residents.”
