IMLAY CITY — The Oakland University women’s track team, which counts former Imlay City standout Robin LeFevere among their ranks, started their 2021 season Friday, January 15 at the SVSU Classic.

The meet marked the return to action for Oakland University after a 320-day layoff due to COVID-19.

LeFevere, a sophomore, registered a long jump performance of 15 feet 11 1/2 inches en route to a second.

Her teammate, Paige Sanders, took event honors that day. She supplied an effort of 16 feet 2 1/4 inches en route.

A total of seven athletes competed in the event.

No team scores were kept at the meet.
