James Frederick Parsons, 91, of Allenton and formally of Almont, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021.
He was born May 15, 1929, in Mount Clemens.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick S. Parsons and Elizabeth (Bradd); his wife of 30 years, Rose M. (Hall); and many four-legged friends.

He is survived by daughter, Cheryl (Patrick) Evans of Capac; son, Robert Parsons; companion of 22 years, Sharon Withun of Allenton; two grandchildren, Neil and Kate; and his cat Murphy.

James served in the United States Army. He was 32-year member of the Almont Fire Department and served on the Almont Planning Commission and the Berlin Township Board of Review. He was employed by Ford Motor Company, Detroit, for 30 years until his retirement.
He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast. He was a member of H.O.G., Gold Wingers Association, and a life member of the A.M.A.

Cremation has taken place. Arrangements are by Kaatz Funeral Directors, Capac.
Memorials are suggested to Almont Fire Department, Berlin Twp. Fire Department or Blue Water Humane Society.
