Robert Neil McMichael, 83, passed unexpectedly at home on the morning of December 26, 2020. He was born December 23, 1937 in Utica, MI. Beloved son of the late Helen McMichael and Robert McMichael. Bob was the oldest brother of Marilyn Pawelczyk and Linda Mills. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Bernadette “Bernie” McMichael; and sons, Neil (Mike) McMichael, Joel McMichael, Dean (Jeannie) McMichael, Randy (Kristen) Childs, and Scott (Jennifer) Childs. The adored grandfather is missed deeply by all 11 of his grandchildren, Domnique, Alexis, MaKenzie, Liam, Londyn, Jalen, Naomi, Jordan, Jacob, McKenna and Ben; along with his four great-grandchildren Rayna, Rowan, Nathan and Lucy. He was a union carpenter and building inspector of Berlin Township and Sterling Heights for many years and was the President of the Lions Club in Berville, MI. Bob was an avid golfer, bowler, fisher, hunter, book reader, puzzle master, and venison meatball perfecter. He could usually be found with tools in hand ready to build the next project or club in hand ready to get the next hole-in-one. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
