Grace Patterson, age 88, of Imlay City, MI died peacefully, Thursday, December 24, 2020 at her home in Imlay City. Grace Katherine Orlowski was born November 19, 1932 in Detroit, MI. She was the daughter of the late Walter and the late Martha (Pomaski) Orlowski, Sr. She grew up in Attica. Grace was a graduate of Imlay City High School, Class of 1951.

She was employed as a sewing machine operator at the Hammill Seatbelt Manufacturing Co. (a Division of Firestone) for many years.

Grace had known William Patterson for a long time when they decided to marry. Grace and Bill were married on October 22, 1983 in Imlay City, MI. Bill died in January 1995. Grace enjoyed bowling, knitting and crocheting; she especially enjoyed a good practical joke.

She had a special love for her puppy, Wilbur, who was always by her side. Grace and Bill were long time members of Holy Redeemer Lutheran Church in Dryden.

Grace was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Patterson; her parents, Walter and Martha Orlowski, Sr.; and her brother, Thomas (Helen) Orlowski.

She is survived by her best friends, Don and Eileen Moore of Imlay City; twelve nieces and nephews, along with their spouses; and her brother, Walter (Barbara) Orlowski, Jr. of Newberry, MI.

The funeral service was held Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City. Reverend Keith Lemley, pastor of Holy Redeemer Lutheran Church of Dryden officiated. Interment followed in Imlay Township Cemetery.
