Lois Muxlow, age 83, of Lapeer, MI died Friday, December 18, 2020 at McLaren Lapeer Region of Lapeer, MI. Lois Marie Parks was born January 25, 1937 in Deford, MI. She was the daughter of the late Howard J. and the late Beatrice M. (Hoffman Hack) Parks. Lois grew up in Lapeer and was a graduate of Lapeer High School, Class of 1955. She married William Ray Muxlow on January 22, 1955 in Lapeer, MI. She lived most of her life in the Imlay City area.

She and her husband were founding members of the Imlay City Church of the Nazarene. Lois and William enjoyed traveling; they took their family out west to see the Grand Canyon, Carlsbad Cavern and the Badlands. She enjoyed word searches, taking photos, gardening, cooking and caring for her family.

She is survived by one daughter, Lorena Muxlow of Lapeer; three sons, Michael Muxlow of Lapeer, Jeff (Patricia) Muxlow of Kings Mill, Daryl (Virginia) Muxlow of Millington; grandchildren Jason Muxlow, Brian Muxlow, Jeremy Muxlow, Joel Muxlow, Megan Muxlow, Jacob Muxlow, Jeremiah Brown, John Wright, Scott Lee Muxlow, and Noah Radatz. Also surviving are great-grandchildren, Alexandra, Elise, Allison, Olivia, Alexander, Makayla, Mackenzie, Aiden, Gage, Jeffrey, Vella, Kyrie, Derek, Ethan, Micah and Alyvia.

Lois was preceded in death by her husband, William Muxlow in 1991; her parents, Howard and Beatrice Parks; brothers, Art Parks and Doug Parks; sisters, Virginia Renberg, Isabelle Pringle and Geraldine Cole.

The funeral service was held Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI. Reverend Randy Wilkins, pastor of the Imlay City Church of the Nazarene, officiated. Burial followed in Imlay Township Cemetery, Imlay City.
