Mary Anne Rowley, age 71, recently of Owosso, MI died Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at Shiawassee Medical Care Facility. Mary Anne was born September 28, 1949 in Brown City, MI. She was the daughter of the late Myron and the late Dorothy (Schlaud) Rowley. Mary Ann grew up in Imlay City, MI. She attended Woodside School in Lapeer, MI. Mary Anne lived at Woodhaven Senior Community in Flint, MI before moving to Owosso.
She was a volunteer Teacher’s Aide for Weston Elementary School in Imlay City, MI.
Mary Anne loved music, playing bingo, crafts and collecting stamps.
She is survived by her brothers, Dale Rowley of Topeka, KS, Donald Rowley of Apache Junction, AZ, Douglas (Deborah) Rowley of Birch Run, MI; and many nieces and nephews.
Mary Anne was preceded in death by her parents, Myron and Dorothy Rowley; her brother, David Rowley; and her sisters-in-law, Betty Rowley and Martie Rowley.
The funeral service was held Saturday, December 5, 2020, graveside at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Imlay City, MI. Reverend Fr. Noel Cornelio, pastor of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, officiated.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City.
