ALMONT — The Almont football team claimed five spots on the Michigan High School Football Coaches Association Div. 5 All-Region lineup which was announced recently.
Brandon Hunsaker made the squad for his prowess as an offensive lineman.
The 6-0 and 205-pound junior helped Almont’s offense average 205.5 yards per game.
This was his second season on Almont’s varsity, who saw action in four regular season and two playoff games.
Michael Lulgjuraj was recognized as a running back.
He amassed 350 yards on 64 carries, an average of 5.5 yards per tote, with one touchdown during the 2020 campaign.
The 5-11 and 190-pound senior also had three receptions for 12 yards, an average of 4.0 yards per catch, with one touchdown.
Lulgjuraj generated those numbers while playing three regular season and two playoff games.
This was his third year on Almont’s varsity.
Nolan Panduren garnered attention as a defensive end.
He supplied 11 unassisted and 27 assisted tackles this fall.
The 5-11 and 175-pound senior also contributed two forced fumbles and one blocked punt to Almont’s cause.
It took him four regular season and two playoff games to notch those credentials.
This was his fourth season on Almont’s varsity.
Landon Kruse received accolades for his prowess at linebacker.
The 5-10 and 165-pound senior provided 16 solo and 22 assisted tackles during the 2020 campaign.

Corey Webster landed a spot as a linebacker.
