Imlay City’s Kendall Sommer (#25 in back row) is listed on the roster of the Spring Arbor women’s basketball team this winter.

 

IMLAY CITY — The Spring Arbor women’s basketball team, which lists Imlay City’s Kendall Sommer on its roster, rolled to a convincing 86-38 victory over visiting Great Lakes Christian on Tuesday, November 17.

With the outcome, Spring Arbor improves to 2-2 overall. Great Lakes Christian slips to 0-2 this season.

In Tuesday’s matchup, Spring Arbor took an 18-13 advantage after one quarter was over with.

Spring Arbor then outscored Great Lakes Christian 23-13 during quarter two, pushing their cushion to 41-26 at the halftime break.

The hosts followed it up with a 30-6 third quarter edge and a 15-6
fourth quarter advantage, closing out a lopsided 86-38 outcome.

Sommer,
a 5-10 sophomore forward, saw seven minutes of playing time. It was there she finished with one offensive and two defensive rebounds.
