Linked Hearts Emergency Food Pantry, located in Dryden, is a non-profit organization that serves to provide food to families in need in our community. The food we distribute is obtained by utilizing both monetary and food donations from individuals, groups, businesses, and churches in our area.

In addition to our monthly food distribution, our goal during Thanksgiving was to provide a special dinner to families that may need our help. To help us fulfill our Thanksgiving goal, this year and in previous years, the Dryden Cub Scouts #142 and the Dryden Boy Scouts #130 participated in a “Scouting for Food” drive. This year they collected an amazing 545 pounds of food staples and donated all the items to Linked Hearts.

We are very appreciative of their dedication and generosity. All the items we received will be used to help others. Linked Hearts, and our community, send a sincere “thank you” to Dryden Cub Scouts #142 and Dryden Boy Scouts #130.

What makes a community great is people that care and help each other. Dryden is one of those communities.

Thank you, Dryden Cub and Boy Scouts.
