Marjory “Marge” Pagels nee Streeter, 82 of Almont and formerly of Romeo passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2020 surrounded by her family. She was born May 6, 1938 the daughter of Milo Remington and Velma Isabell (Hawkins) Streeter in Romeo. Marge graduated from Romeo High School in 1956. After high school she attended Mercy School of Nursing where she received her LPN in Nursing. She married the love of her life, her husband Charles “Chum” Pagels on March 12, 1960 in Warren. To their union were born their daughters Sally and Susan. Together they enjoyed traveling, snowmobiling and boating.

Later in life Marge lived with her daughter Sally in Romeo and Almont. Most recently Marge was one of the first residents at Wellbridge of Romeo where she made many close friends with whom she enjoyed some heated games of Uno in the evenings.

Marge and her Marge-isms were legendary. They were an inspiration to some, a comfort to many and a perspiration to a few. She will be remembered for her sharp wit and her love for her family.

Marge is survived by her daughters, Sally (Peter) Orlando of Almont and Susan (Wayne) Lutjens of Dryden; her grandchildren, Katelyn Lutjens and Ethan Lutjens both of Dryden; and her step-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Paul (Sue) Streeter of Clermont, FL and Mary Ellen Bower of Davenport.

Marge is preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Chum” Pagels; and her parents, Milo and Velma Isabell Streeter.

The memorial service will be held on Friday, October 23, 2020 at 7 p.m. at the Muir Funeral Home Celebration of Life Center, 2650 South Van Dyke, Imlay City, 810-724-7200. The family will be receiving friends from 5-7 p.m. on Friday. Burial will be private at White Chapel Cemetery.
