Brenda Sue Lemmert, 63, of Attica, passed away Monday, October 12, 2020 surrounded by her family. She was born July 22, 1957 the daughter of Virgil and Marilynn (Vallad) Partin in Pontiac. Brenda graduated from Pontiac Northern High School. After school she worked various roles at Teachers Discovery for over 35 years.
Brenda married the love of her life Ronald Lemmert on August 2, 1975 in Pontiac and together they raised their son Aaron. Brenda and Ron enjoyed travel, visiting many places all over the world. To name just a few, they have been to Hawaii, France, Germany, China, Taiwan, Indonesia and Australia. Quality time was a staple of Brenda’s character; she loved to spend time with family (ones she adopted or otherwise) while also using her hands and mind to create memorable gifts for others. Brenda enjoyed crafting, sewing, scrapbooking, researching projects (to the Nth degree), home improvement projects and gardening.
Brenda is survived by her husband Ronald Lemmert of Attica; her son, Aaron (Melissa) Lemmert of Armada; and her granddaughters, Mikaela Lemmert and Alyson Lemmert. She is also survived by her mom, Marilynn Partin of Grayling; her siblings, Dawn Siwula of Grayling, Larry (Stacey) Partin of Florida, Linda (Jon) Ritter of Delaware and Kathy Partin of Traverse City.
Brenda is preceded in death by her father, Virgil Partin.
The funeral service was held on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Gateway Assembly, 2796 S Van Dyke, Imlay City. Burial was made at Christian Memorial Cultural Center, 521 East Hamlin, Rochester Hills.
