Kay Burkuhl, 83, passed away September 25, 2020.
Kay was the most thoughtful parent/grandparent who always had a little something set aside that she knew would be of special interest to her individual family members. She was a very talented artist who specialized in painting watercolors and oils, but worked in almost every artistic medium. Kay loved to visit art fairs, galleries and museums. She was active in her horticultural society and cultivated a natural, beautiful garden. Kay also enjoyed lunch gatherings with her close neighborhood friends.
Loving mother of Jane (Don) Lewis, Joy Yaklin, Amy (David) Lipinski, Cindy (Jim) Todd, and the late Michael Parrott. Proud grandmother of Christi, Jason, Holly, David, Amy, Adam, Eric, Megan, Chad, Michael, Jessi, Julia and Mitchell. Dearest great-grandmother of Aliyah, Raylyn, Evan, Shelby, Emma, Jackson, Brielle, and Logan. Beloved sister of Nancy (Edward) Kay.
Interment and funeral service was held Tuesday, September 29 at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township, MI.
In lieu of flowers the family would like donations to be made to Hospice of Michigan.
