Probably bias of some sort has existed since the beginning of time, and will be exceedingly difficult to end. As long as human nature desires to lord over another person, society will seek to have a social status system. Somehow this has manifested into serious social distress.

In 2014 “Hands up, don’t shoot” became a match that has lit social unrest. Michael Brown of Ferguson, MO was the subject of that slogan. Courts ruled his shooting death was justified, but social media and the fledgling Black Lives Matter movement was able to nurse it into a welcoming audience. The former statement carried the weight of public thought for months, still has believers, and is coming back to us now as police try to do their duty.

The George Floyd incident carried on the distrust of police officers. Until a court trial ensues, and all facts emerge, the lies continue to build into a drumbeat. Now some believe the only way to correct the wrong comes in the form of “protests.” Why destroy your own friends’ and neighborhood property?

Fire the police. What would that accomplish? But this is riot mentality. In my opinion the Black Lives Matter movement is not interested in racial justice, just anarchy.

When protesting outside an abortion clinic, you will be arrested or ticketed unless you have crossed all your t’s and dotted your i’s. But protest in the name of racial justice and you can block traffic, destroy property and violate many laws. Mayors and governors will stand by you. Pure hypocrisy.

I have heard truth is what you make it if you hold the power. I guess liberals make up truth to
fit their agenda.
