The holidays are approaching and we want to be sure you are aware of a program offered by Linked Hearts Emergency Food Pantry in association with Holiday Depot of Lapeer County.

The purpose of this program is to offer you and your family Christmas gifts and/or food assistance for this coming Christmas holiday season. We feel this year in particular, because of the coronavirus pandemic, some of our community families may be in special need and we want to help.

You must qualify to participate in this program. To qualify, you must be a Lapeer County low income resident and complete an application. All applications must be completed in person. You must have the following items to complete the application.

1. A picture identification of yourself with a Lapeer County address.

2. A social security card (not just the number) or birth certificate for each additional household member.

3. Proof of income for the past 30 days.

Applications will be taken on the dates and at the times listed below. Our address is 5595 Main Street in Dryden.

•Mondays: October 5, 12, 19, 26, and November 2, 9 from 12 – 4 p.m.

•Wednesdays: October 7, 14, 21, 28, and November 4, 11 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Please apply if you feel this program may be helpful to you and your family. Due to the coronavirus, if at all possible, we request only one person from each family enter our facility to complete the application. Please note that a face mask will be required to enter our facility.
