Patricia Anne (Burke) Brown, 85, of Imlay City, MI, died September 4, 2020. Patricia Anne Brown was born May 16, 1935, in Somers Point, NJ. She was the daughter of Thomas Burke and Violet (Marshall) Burke and grew up in Margate, NJ. She graduated from Atlantic City High School in 1953. Patricia married Eugene Lawrence Brown on September 15, 1956, in Margate, NJ. Eugene and Patricia moved back to Michigan after their wedding. They moved to Imlay City in 1973. Patricia’s family was her number one priority. She enjoyed supporting her children and grandchildren in their athletic endeavors and will forever be their biggest fan.

She is survived by their eight children, Marie (Todd) Douglas of Imlay City, Pat (Aimee) Brown of Imlay City, Bob (Gretchen) Brown of Imlay City, Ed (Lisa) Brown of Lapeer, Jim Brown of Imlay City, Bill (Carmen) Brown of Lapeer, Tom (Kellie) Brown of Tecumseh and Gene Brown of Flushing; 25 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Brown; father, Thomas Burke; mother, Violet (Marshall) Burke; brother, Thomas Burke; brother, Fr. Robert Burke; and sister Caroline Ullman.

The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 9, 2020, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 700 Maple Vista, Imlay City, MI. The Reverend Father Noel Cornelio will be officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Imlay City.

The family will be available for limited visiting hours from 9 – 10 a.m. on Wednesday, September 9, 2020, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Due to recent health concerns of the COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing (six feet apart) and masks (to be worn at all times) will be enforced.
