TRI-CITY AREA — The Imlay City boys’ cross country team generated a sixth-place showing at the Second Annual Happy Acres Invitational last Saturday.

Webberville is where the meet was contested.

When the final scores were added up, Webberville (48 points) won the team title. They were followed by Breckenridge (52 points), Dansville (60), Morrice (122), Bath (123), Imlay City (151), Charyl Stockwell Academy (153), Southfield Christian (185) and Novi Christian Academy (248).

Dryden, Lansing Christian and Livingston Christian also participated but did not field complete squads.

Mason Wildie logged the quickest Imlay City clocking that day, stopping the watch at 18:26.9 on his way to a 12th. The Spartans also counted results from Dean Aune, 23rd, 19:23.13; Zavier Logan, 32nd, 20:11.51; Elliot Whitney, 51st, 21:33.09; and Connor Wildie, 59th, 22:03.01.

Reed Hall furnished the top Dryden showing. Hall posted a time of 18:36.14 en route to a 15th.

Aiden Fitchett, 17th, 18:50.4; Hunter Hughes, 42nd, 21:07.78; and Jackson Spencer, 75th, 25:02.57; completed Dryden’s four-runner contingent.
