Shirley Rodarmer, 85, of Imlay City, MI died Saturday, August 1, 2020 at home in Imlay City. Shirley Ann Steffes was born April 9, 1935 in Holly, MI. She was the daughter of the late Edward and the late Dorothy (Burt) Steffes. Shirley attended high School in Ortonville and Holly. She married Harold Rodarmer on July 13, 1977 in Almont, Michigan. Harold died on July 10, 2002. She was employed by PSI Plastics in Imlay City as a Machine Operator. She had also worked at Hammill Manufacturing in Romeo for many years.

Shirley enjoyed shopping, working out-of-doors in her yard and playing practical jokes.

Shirley is survived by two daughters, Kathleen Gierman of Imlay City, MI and Dianne (Daniel) Greenough of Big Perry, OH; one sister, Barbara (Don) Tucker of California; and her grandchildren, Dianna Saunders and Amy Boyne. Also surviving are a sister-in-law, Mary Steffes; and a brother-in-law, Leonard Greenwald. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; brothers, William Steffes and Carl Steffes; sisters, Helen Swayze and Betty Greenwald; and her grandson, Kirk Gierman Jr.

The funeral services for Shirley Rodarmer will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI. Burial will follow in Imlay Township Cemetery.

The Rodarmer family will be available for visitation 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City. Due to recent health concerns of the COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing (six feet apart), masks (to be worn at all times), and limited occupation (10 people at a time) of the funeral home will be enforced.
